SS Welfare Foundation awards individuals

The SS Welfare Foundation awarded some individuals for their outstanding contributions to public health, research, education, and literature.

The award giving ceremony was held at a city hotel on Saturday. Dr Md Jahangir Hossain, Dr Salim Mahmud Chowdhury, Dr Md Shahidul Islam, Mohammed Alauddin, Mohammad Shamsal Islam, Faria Sultana and Afia Sultana Ruby are the award winners of this year.

Awards were presented to awardees honoring their decades-long dedication and services to public health care, education, literature, and research.

This ceremony acknowledged individuals and organizations for their exceptional performance and leadership in NCD, education, literature, research, community work, and public health issues.

Brig Gen Md Zobaidur Rahman (PRL) handed over the awards.

AM Quamrul Huq, Commodore (Retd), Md Siddikur Rahman, head of ICT, (Bangladesh Supreme Court), Johurul Islam Jewel Deputy Registrar and head of HR of University of South Asia present as special guest while Md. Iqbal Hossain, President of the SS Welfare Foundation presided over the program.
