BPL Cricket resumes today

After one-day hiatus, the Ispahani Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket will resume today at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the capital’s of Mirpur. Khulna Tigers will take on Sylhet Strikers in the day’s first match, which will start at 2.00pm, while Comilla Victorians will face Durdanto Dhaka in the day’s second match, which will begin at 7.00pm. Private satellite channel GTV and private satellite sports channel T Sports will telecast the matches live from the venue.

Rangpur Riders have taken the top position in the points table with 10 points from seven matches, while Chattogram Challengers have attained the second position with 10 points from as many outings.

Comilla Victorians have achieved the third spot with eight points from six matches, while Khulna Tigers have secured the fourth position with eight points from as many outings.

Fortune Barishal have achieved the fifth position with six points from seven matches.

Sylhet Strikers have achieved the sixth spot with four points from eight matches, while Durdanto Dhaka remained at the bottom position with two points from seven matches.

Azmatullah Omarzai of Rangpur Riders is the best all-rounder with 150 runs and five wickets. Mahedi Hasan of Rangpur Riders is the second top all-rounder with 49 runs and 12 wickets. Faheem Ashraf of Khulna Tigers is the third top all-rounder with 60 runs and nine wickets.

Babar Azam of Rangpur Riders is the highest scorer with 251 runs with an average of 50.20. Mushfiqur Rahim of Fortune Barishal is the second run getter with 238 runs with an average of 39.66. Zakir Hasan of Sylhet Strikers is the third highest scorer with 201 runs with an average of 28.71.

Shoriful Islam of Durdanto Dhaka is the highest wicket taker 13 wickets with an average of 15.92.

Mahedi Hasan of Rangpur Riders is the second highest wicket taker with 12 wickets with an average of 10.41. Tanvir Islam of Comilla Victorians is the third highest wicket taker with 11 wickets with an average of 11.27.
