Dull Sugarcrop campus turns vibrant with flowers

A garden of all kinds of flowers including marigolds has been developed in the campus of Bangladesh Sugarcrop Research Institute in Ishwardi. Everywhere you look at, there are colorful flowers. Scientists, officials and local nature lovers are enjoying the beauty of these flowers. Even the flower lovers are coming from far away including Rajshahi, Pabna.
Winter prevails in the seasonal cycle. In the month of Magh, the white and thick fog of winter and the sound of the wind, the nature is covered with extreme dryness and roughness. Ishwardi is covered in a blanket of fog. People are still stiff in severe winter. Along with this, the campus of Sugarcrop is decorated with colorful new flowers. Everywhere there is an array of colorful flowers. The entire campus is filled with the scent of flowers, which adds a different dimension to the unique. The natural beauty is pulling everyone.
As soon as you enter through the main gate of BSRI, you will see colorful flowers in front of the ‘Kaljayi Mujib’ mural. A little further ahead, the guesthouse is surrounded by a beautiful flower garden. Various flowers including ganda, dahlia, chrysanthemum, jasmine and togar are in front of the administrative building. Various and colorful flowers are everywhere, including the training center. Visiting the campus, it was also seen that beautiful flower gardens have been developed in different places.
This institution has a long tradition of planting wild flowers in all seasons, especially in winter and spring. However, in the past decade, there has been a decline in creating beautiful seasonal flower gardens. Scientists and employees of the institution said that since the arrival of the new DG, efforts are being made to diversify the institution. Mujeeb Corner has already been built. The office is being decorated by shaking off everything from the old period.
Visitors of all ages, especially the youth, come to visit the nature-adorned green campus every day. People come here with their friends, family and relatives in need of a little leisure during the busy time due to the pull of nature where this flower garden is integrated into nature.
