CHANDPUR: Photo shows jatkas (hilsa fish fry) are being distributed among the orphans and destitute people after about 65 maunds of jatka was seized from 10 CNG autorickshaws at Chandpur Natunbazar-Puranbazar connecting bridge area while being smuggled elsewhere on Thursday. Acting on a tip, coastguards and fisheries officials jointly launched the drive and seized the jatkas. None could be arrested at the time of the drive. Sadar Upazila Fisheries officer Tanjimul Islam and Bangladesh Coastguard officers were present on the occasion.
