Application for cluster admission test postponed

The authority has decided to change the application schedule for the first-year undergraduate admission test for the academic year 2023-24 of 24 universities under the uniform entry test guideline.
Earlier, January 29 was set as the start date for the online application process, reports media.
The convener of the integrated admission committee and Vice Chancellor of Jessore University of Science and Technology Prof Dr Md Anwar Hossain made the announcement on Friday.
The decision was taken in the second meeting of the integrated admission committee on an online platform on Thursday night.
Prof Anwar said: “After technical preparation and the announcement of the examination schedule, it has been decided to change the date and schedule of the admission test considering the opinions of the vice chancellors of the GST cluster universities to coordinate some issues.”
All these decisions were taken in the first meeting of the integrated admission committee of the GST cluster universities at the University Grants Commission (UGC) conference room Sunday afternoon, he said.
He added that the meeting of the central admission committee of the cluster universities will be held in the UGC conference room on the afternoon of January 31. In the meeting, everyone will be informed of rescheduling the date and schedule of the changed admission test application.
