SCC fines business firms for dues

Sylhet Bureau :

On the initiative of Sylhet City Corporation, a fine of 79 thousand taka has been collected along with arrears has been collected from 5 companies by raiding various business establishments. The operation was conducted in Shahparan and suburb areas of the city on Monday.

License Officer along with Chief Revenue Officer of Sylhet City Corporation was present in the drive.

A team of Sylhet Metropolitan Police assisted in the operation. In the campaign, a total of 9 institutions including Ilion in the suburbs have been fined 79 thousand rupees and the outstanding license fee has been collected from 5 institutions.
