BAU organises orientation of new learners

The orientation programme of newly admitted students of 2022-2023 session held at Shilpacharya Zainul Abedin auditorium of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) on Monday.

Member of the University Grants Commission, Prof Dr. Md. Abu Taher was present as chief guest at the orientation programme.

Students’ Affairs Adviser Prof Dr. Md. Harun-or-Rashid presided over the programme while Vice-Chancellor of BAU Prof Dr. Emdadul Haque Chowdhury was the chief patron.

Convener of the Dean Council Prof Dr. Shajeda Akhter, convener of the Provost Council Prof Dr. Fowzia Sultana, Registrar Kbd Md. Waliullah, Proctor Prof Dr. Md. Azharul Islam were spoke as special guests.

Associate Student Affairs Advisor Prof. Dr. Afrina Mostari was directed the programme. Deans of different faculties, teachers, student leaders of different organization, guardians were also present along with the fresher’s at the event.

Chief guest Prof Dr. Md. Abu Taher said that the biggest challenge of today’s society is ensuring food and nutrition security.

I hope today’s youth will be established in the future and lead the country in the direction of the fourth industrial revolution.

As teachers, we will feel proud only when our students show the success of the country and agriculture to the world.
