2 drug peddlers with 21 kg hemp held

Members of Dectative Branch (DB) have arrested two alleged drug peddlers along with 21 kg hemps from Rashidabad Bailly Bridge in Kishoreganj Sadar on Sunday midnight.
The arrested persons are identified as Md Jowel (31) son of Jate Abdul Jalil in Gouripur upazila of Mymensingh and Abdul Malaque (32) son of Late Abul Hashim of Chanuaghat upazila of Habiganj upazila.
Additional SP (Crime & Ops) in Kishoreganj, Md. Al -Amin Hossein said acting on secret information, an operation team of DB conducted a raid at Rashidabad Bally Bridge on Bhairab – Mymensingh regional highway in Kishoreganj on Sunday midnight and detained a microbes.
After searching the microbus, DB found the 21 kg hemps and arrested two drug dealers.
Later, the DB handed drug dealers over to the Kishoreganj police station by filing a case in this connection.
