Barishal severely suffers from cold

People of riverine and storm affected Barishal division are now suffering from severe cold being deprived of sunlight for last three days. There are many men especially children and old people are affected in cold related diseases in different districts of the division.
Residents of coastal areas are the most affected by the cold. Diarrhea is the most affected among them as 187 people were affected by diarrhea, 79 people were admitted with pneumonia, shortness of breath and 123 people were affected with other cold-related diseases. Among them, 5 thousand 96 people were affected by diarrhea and 1 thousand 297 people were admitted to the hospital suffering from pneumonia-respiratory difficulty.
About 51 people in Bhola, 41 in Patuakhali, 40 in Barguna, 32 in Barishal, 22 in Pirojpur and
11 in Jhalokathi have been suffering from diarrhea. Pneumonia and breathing problems are also highest 31 in Patuakhali , 21 in Bhola , 16 in Barishal , 8 in Pirojpur and 3 in Jhalokathi district. 81 people are most affected by other cold-related diseases in Patuakhali.
