‘Skilled manpower export will increase remittance’

State Minister for Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment, Shafiqur Rahman Chowdhury on Sunday said remittance would be increased through exporting skilled manpower after giving them proper training.
The State Minister said it while participated in a view exchange meeting with the officials on his first working day at the ministry.
He asked the concern officials to render services to the overseas job seekers honestly.
He called upon all officials to show highest patriotism while giving services to the migrant workers.
He vowed to overcome all challenges of the migration sector with utmost efforts combined with all officials. He urged all to work together for developing a smart Bangladesh.
Earlier, the officials of the ministry congratulated the State Minister with flower bouquets.
Md Ruhul Amin, Secretary of the ministry, Md Hamidur Rahman, DG of Wage Earners Welfare Board, Saleh Ahmed Mozaffar DG of the Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training (BMET) and Md. Mojibor Rahman, MD of the Expatriates’ Welfare Bank among others were present in the event.
