Sujon eyes knockout phase of BPL Cricket

Head Coach of Durdanto Dhaka Khaled Mahmud Sujon has target that Durdnato Dhaka will play in the knock out phase of the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket 2024. Durdanto Dhaka are not so strong side. Though they have right-arm pacer Taskin Ahmed and left-arm pacer Shoriful Islam in their squad. Besides, they have some foreign cricketers.
Marking the upcoming BPL Cricket, the most prestigious domestic cricket meet of the country, Durdanto Dhaka have started their practice at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur.
Head Coach of Durdanto Dhaka Khaled Mahmud Sujon talked to newsmen on Sunday. Sujon said, ” Every team have a target. We want to reach at least at the knock out phase of the BPL Cricket. Most of the teams want to be the champions in a cricket competition. But if I judge the strength of our team, we have target to play in the knock out phase. It is very important to play in the last four stage. We have to play in the last four stage if we want to play be the champions in the cricket meet. To become a champions in a meet, luck is very crucial. If luck doesn’t favour, a strong team cannot be the winner in a competition.”
Sujon said, ” My boys have started their practice session. All my boys have taken part in training.”
The Head Coach said, ” We have not so many noted cricketers. But I have taken it as a challenge. Maximum have estimated us as a team, which can take in the six or seven spots in the cricket competition. We have nothing to lose. But we have opportunity to achieve a good result. I take it as a challenge.”
