‘Writing Artistry’ to hold discussion on career dev on Jan 20

A discussion will be held on ‘Career Development: Challenges & Possibilities’ virtually on Saturday (20 January) by the initiative of a new Bangladesh-based educational platform ‘Writing Artistry’.

Dr Jamila A. Chowdhury Professor of Law at the Department of Law, University of Dhaka is likely to conduct the session virtually on career development on Saturday.

Dr Jamila A. Chowdhury said students should learn more about research with better understanding.

‘Most of the students do not know how to develop their resume while they have a golden future but they should follow some hacks and more serious on career development.

Dr Jamila A. Chowdhury has more than 15 years of legal research and teaching experience at the tertiary level. She holds a PhD in dispute resolution from the University of Sydney, Australia.

Her PhD thesis on ‘women’s access to justice through mediation’ is available for viewing at the ‘Rare and Special Collection’ of the Fisher Library, the University of Sydney, Australia.

Dr Jamila authored five research books and more than twenty research articles in different national and international journals.

Amongst her research publication, Gender power and mediation: Evaluative Mediation to Challenge the Power of Social Discourses (UK) deserve a special mention as it accumulates the most significant findings of her PhD.

‘Writing Artistry’ launched a new e-learning courses on creative, journal, article, blog writing which aims to help students to learn creative writing and article writing involves fostering creativity, honing writing skills, and determine to provide guidance on structure and style.
