Tamim Iqbal injured his left index finger on Tuesday during Fortune Barishal’s training from a delivery of pacer Taskin Ahmed.
This left-handed opener left the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur with tape on his finger.
Tamim came to practice today with that taped finger.
Initially, he batted in the practice nets, then spent a long time on the indoor bowling machine.
Mizanur Rahman, a member of Barisal’s coaching staff, said, “Yesterday, a ball jumped.
It had no effect. Finger is fine.
Yesterday he stopped practicing to prevent any more damage.
Today he batted in full session.”
