Five lose security deposits from Pabna-4

Five candidates have lost their security deposit in the 12th National Elections held on Sunday from Pabna-5 constituency.

Awami League nominated candidate Ghalibur Rahman Sharif got 1 lakh 67 thousand 443 votes.

District Awami League Organizing Secretary Galibur Rahman Sharif defeated the nearest individual eagle symbol candidate District Awami League Advisor Punjab Ali Biswas in Pabna-4 constituency in the scheduled 12th National Assembly Election on Sunday (January 7).

EC Upazila Election Officer Ashraful Islam said that there is a provision to cancel the security of the candidate if he gets less than one-eighth of the total votes cast in the election.
