This poll isn’t a true election Says Shahdeen Malik

Staff Reporter  :
Legal expert Dr Shahdeen Malik said 12th National Parliament election was not competitive at all. On the other hand Senior Supreme Court lawyer Khurshid Alam Khan said that the election was very competitive.

While talking to the reporters at the Supreme Court premises on Monday, this lawyer gave his reactions over the 12th parliamentary elections. Supreme Court lawyer Shahdeen Malik said, “It cannot be called elections in a true sense.

The moral foundation of the government that the Awami League will form will be weak. If the moral foundation of a government is weak, it becomes difficult for them to run the country properly.

I think the government will continue as it is. They will plan for some mega projects. Those who are close to the government will be benefited financially.”

“We witnessed one kind of trickery during the 2018 national elections. This time we witnessed a new version of the trickery,” added the lawyer.
