Five arrested from BNP protest rally in Barishal

Police arrested five BNP workers arrested from separate areas of Barishal city on Friday (January 5). Barishal metropolitan BNP convener Ziauddin Sikder Zia said that a protest march was started as part of the central program to make the hartal of January 6 and 7 successful.
When the procession ended at Bogra Road Khamarbari area, the police chased and arrested two people named Takdirul Islam Tanmoy (23) and Anisur Rahman Nayan (45).
On the other hand, three BNP activists named Jumman (37), Nurunnabi (45) and Sohail Howladar (35), were arrested while taking out a sudden (jhatika) procession in Baidyapara area of the city on early Friday.
