9 members of ”Kabji Kata group” held in capital

The elite force Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested nine people, including Takla Hayat, one of the founders of the terrorist gang ‘Kabji Kata Group’, involved in various terrorist activities including robbery, extortion as well as creating chaos in the local area centering the upcoming elections.

Based on intelligence information, they were arrested from various areas of Mohammadpur in the capital on Wednesday night.

Commander Khandaker Al Moin, Director of Legal and Media Wing of RAB, said this at a press conference organized at RAB Media Centre in Karwan Bazar in the capital on Wednesday noon.

He said that a terrorist gang named ‘Kabji Kata (wrist banding) Group’ has been committing various terrorist activities including robbery and extortion in Mohammadpur area since long.
