Rajin believes Mashrafe to play in BPL Cricket

Head Coach of Sylhet Strikers Rajin Saleh believes that Mashrafe Bin Mortaza will play in the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket. Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has been suffering from injury in his knee.

After the national election, Mashrafe Bin Morataza will undergo surgery operation.

In that case Mashrafe could not compete in the BPL. But Rajin Saleh believes that the veteran pacer will participate in this year’s BPL edition for Sylhet Strikers.

Rajin said, ” I don’t know about the update of Mashrafe’s condition.

But Mashfare is such kind of cricketer that no one can say either play or not. But we hope he will play. Earlier, Mashrafe participated in the BPL, though he had injury. So, I am optimistic that he will play in this year’s BPL.”

It may be mentioned that apart from Rajin Saleh, Sylhet Strikers have included Murad Khan and Dollar Mahmud in their coaching panel.

Rajin said, ” The new inclusion in coaching panel will be decided by the team management of Sylhet Strikers.

It is noteworthy that the 10th edition of BPL Cricket will start on January 19. A total of seven teams will take part this year’s franchise based cricket competition. BPL Cricket, is the most prestigious domestic cricket meet of the country. The participating teams are: Fortune Barishal, Chattogram Challengers, Comilla Victorians, Durdanto Dhaka, Rangpur Riders, Sylhet Strikers and Khulna Tigers. The BPL Cricket will come to an end on March 1. Mashrafe Bin Mortaza is the icon player of Sylhet Strikers.

Before this edition of BPL, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza played five finals of BPL. Mashrafe’s team emerged as the champions in the four times. Mashrafe last year played for Sylhet Strikers.
