NILPHAMA-1 11 complaints against AL candidate

Six candidates of Domar-Dimla constituency have filed 11 complaints in the Election Commission against the Awami League nominated candidate of Nilphamari-1 (Domar-Dimla) constituency and current Member of Parliament Aftab Uddin Sarkar.

The complaining candidates are independent candidate Barrister Imran Kabir Chowdhury (truck), Zafar Iqbal Siddiqui of Bangladesh Nationalist Movement (anchor), Jatiya Party (JP) Makhdoom Azam Mashrafe (bicycle), Jatiya Party nominated candidate Lt Col (retd) Taslim Uddin (plough), Bangladesh Nationalist Front’s Sirajul Islam (Television) and Trinamool BNP’s Advocate NK Alam Chowdhury (Sonali Ansh).

In the complaint letter, six candidates mentioned that fair and impartial election environment has not yet been created in the constituencies of that constituency.

They requested to take necessary measures by January 3 to address their grievances to create an acceptable election environment for the purpose of fair, impartial and participatory elections.
