Litton runs past Tamim

Prolific opener Litton Das crossed dashing opener Tamim Iqbal.

Bangladesh posted a five-wicket victory over the Kiwis in the first T20I thanks to Litton Das, who remained unbeaten with 42 runs and clinched the maiden and historic T20I victory against the Kiwis at Napier in New Zealand on Wednesday.

Litton Das crossed Tamim Iqbal as Litton scored 1712 runs playing 71 T20I matches. Former captain of Bangladesh Cricket team Tamim Iqbal  scored 1701 runs playing 72 T20I matches.

It may be mentioned that Tamim Iqbal bade good-bye to T20I cricket. So, he cannot cross Litton Das.

Litton Das has taken the third spot of Bangladesh batters as scored 1721 runs. Experienced Mahmudullah Riyad has taken the third position. He scored 2122 runs playing 121 T20I matches.

Captain of Bangladesh Cricket team Shakib Al Hasan has taken the top spot of Bangladesh batters scoring 2382 runs playing 117 T20I matches.

Ace-batter Mushfiqur Rahim scored 1500 runs playing 102 T20I matches. Mushfiqur Rahim resigned from T20I format. Mushfiqur Rahim has taken the fifth position in T20I format.

Litton’s average is 24.70 and his strike rate is 130.5. On the other hand, Tamim’s average is 24.10 and his strike rate is 117.5.

Promising Najmul Hossain Shanto has taken the top spot for his average in T20I cricket.

He scored 585 runs playing 26 matches with an average of 26.59. His strike rate is 112.06.

It is noteworthy that Shakib Al Hasan is the highest wickettaker among the Bangladesh bowlers in T20I cricket. He captured 140 wickets playing 117 matches.

Pacer Mustafizur Rahman has taken the second position capturing 105 wickets playing 86 games.

Apart from Shakib and Mustafizur Rahman, no Bangladesh bowler get 100 wickets in T20I cricket.
