A positive cultural change is essential
Sudhir Baran Mazi :
Although the population has increased across the country, the number of people has decreased. Just as the number of people has decreased, humanity, human values, amity-harmony ethics have also decreased.
Day by day we are losing our culture, love, compassion, ideals, mutual respect, love, compassion. Day by day our civilized society, family, individual thoughts, power-centered political parties have become violent.
Egoism, individual-centered, individual-dependent family, society, state have become the index of individual interests. Almost everyone is busy thinking about their selfish interests.
Everyone is in the ultimate race to become a selfish and self-centered person by giving up his morals, values, human qualities.
By listening to rumours, we are making our solidarity and harmony terrible and we are getting involved in conflict by not listening to the truth. Even if a social state can run like this, it is not possible to advance very far.
We have to come out of individualism and culture for our own sake for future generations and future prosperous and developed Bangladesh. And if not, family, social and state ties will be disrupted. Extreme disorder, anarchy, social discrimination will appear in family, social and state life.
