Burglary at expatriate’s house in Baraigram

In Natore’s Baraigram, a burglary took place during the day by breaking the walls of the house of the expatriate. It is reported that gold-jewelery weighing 5 tola/vori and 15 thousand taka in cash were lost. The incident took place at the house of Saudi expatriate Lutfar Rahman in Dairpara village of the upazila on Tuesday afternoon. Lutfar Rahman is the son of Eser Uddin, a former UP member of that village. According to related sources, Lutfar Rahman came to the country on vacation and is constructing a new house next to Laxmikol market. On Tuesday, his wife and daughter visited his parents’ home. In the afternoon of Tuesday, he locked the house and went to supervise the work of the house under construction. At that time, on the chance that no one was in the house, the organized thieves climbed the wall of the boundary wall and entered the house by cutting the lock. Later, they stole two gold necklaces, two pairs of ear rings, three rings and a pair of anklets and 15 thousand taka in cash from the cupboard.
