Student dies in Ishwardi road accident

A student was killed in a three-way collision involving a pickup van, a truck and a motorcycle on Ishwardi Airport Road. 3 people were injured. The accident took place on December 19 (Tuesday) around 9:30 pm in front of Govt Sara Marwari Model School and College. The deceased student Monir Hossain (18) is the son of Fazal Hossain of Piarakhali village of Ishwardi. He studied in college.
One of the injured has been admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital in critical condition and the other two to Ishwardi Upazila Health Complex.
On receiving the information, rescue workers of Ishwardi Fire Service Civil Defense rescued the injured and took them to Ishwardi Upazila Health Complex. One of the injured was sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for better treatment, police said.
