Bangladesh Supreme Court Day observed

The ‘Bangladesh Supreme Court Day’ observed through various programmes on the court premises on Monday.
On October 25, 2017, the full court meeting of the Supreme Court decided that the ‘Bangladesh Supreme Court Day’ will be observed on December 18 every year, as the High Court started functioning as per the constitution of independent Bangladesh at the same date in 1972, reports BSS.
Since then, Supreme Court Day has been celebrated on December 18 every year.
To mark the day, the Supreme Court administration has organized a discussion program in the inner courtyard of the Supreme Court at 3 pm today.
President Mohammed Shahabuddin present at the event as the chief guest.
