Precautions needed to prevent tonsillitis in children in winter

Winter actually lowers human immunity naturally. Due to which we are more affected than other times.

Especially children are affected by winter diseases. Generally, apart from inflammation of tonsils and adenoids, the abnormal growth of tonsils is caused by various complex diseases.

So tonsil and adenoid disease should not be neglected and should be consulted by a doctor quickly.

If tonsillitis or sore throat does not subside within 7 days, you must consult a doctor. And tonsillitis is a type of infection of the tonsils.

An idea we have about tonsils is that tonsils are a thing that we all have in our throat. This problem is aggravated by drinking cold water or eating cold food or cold air.

Therefore, get rid of this problem if you can throw away the operation! Is it really so? Not at all! You will be surprised to know that your long-held belief was completely wrong. Tonsillitis is a common health problem.

Tonsil infection is more common in children aged 3 to 12 years. However, it does not happen at all in the case of adults. In 50 percent of cases, viruses are responsible for tonsil infection. Bacterial infections can also cause tonsillitis.

Bacterial cases are usually caused by beta hemolytic streptococcus. Tonsillitis can also be caused by other bacteria. Tonsils are lymph nodes or glands located at the back of our throats. Tonsils produce white blood cells in our body. These white blood cells fight against pathogens that enter the body from outside.

When white blood cells cannot work properly against germs, viruses or bacteria cause various diseases in the body. But sometimes while trying to destroy these germs, the tonsil itself gets infected. This results in infection and swelling of the gland.

Usually children play outside and school is crowded together. As a result tonsillitis is faced with hundreds of causes. That’s why this problem is more common in children and teenagers, but tonsillitis can happen to any age group. Therefore, children should be protected from the cold during this winter.
