4 drug dealers held with 60 kg hemp in Bhairab

The members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-14) have arrested four drug dealers along with 60 kg hemps from Bhairab port town in Kishoreganj early Sunday.

According to RAB -14 in Bhairab, on secret information, they conducted an operation in Durjoy square of Bhairab port town. At that time, a bus was searched and four people were arrested with 60 kg of hemps.

The detained are Mamun Mia (22), son of Nur Mia of  Shaestaganj upazila in Habiganj Bus driver Hasanuzzaman Togar (22), son of Ali Ahmed of Katiadi upazila in Kishoreganj, helper Meraj (25) and bus supervisor Mostakim (22), son of late Saeed Hossain of Keraniganj in Dhaka.

Five mobile phone sets and one thousand cash were also recovered from them. RAB -14 in Bhairab Commander, Additional SP Mohammad Zahid Hasan said that, they are drug dealers. A case was filed in Bhairab Model Police Station in this connection.
