Galib Sharif gets ‘boat’ from Pabna-4 constituency

Pabna District Awami League Organizing Secretary Galibur Rahman Sharif received Awami League’s nomination from Pabna-4 Constituency (Ishwardi-Atghoria) to participate in the upcoming 12th National Assembly Elections.

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader announced this list of nominations at the Bangabandhu Avenue central office press conference on Sunday afternoon.

Galib Sharif is the third son of late former land minister and five-time elected MP of this constituency, language soldier and brave freedom fighter Shamsur Rahman Sharif.

Galib Sharif, in a response, expressed his gratitude to Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and all the members of the nomination board, remembering the martyrs of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu and his family.

He thanked the people of Ishwardi and Atghoria and said that after my father’s death, the people of the area stood by and gave me courage.
