Mother, two children killing: 2 accused put on 2- day remand

A Kishoreganj Court on Tuesday on placed accused two men put on 2 – day remand in the murder case of Saudi expatriate Manjil Mia’s wife and his two daughters in Hossainpur upazila of Kishoreganj.
The Senior Judicial Magistrate Jinnat Ara passed the order where police produced them before the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Court.
Earlier on the evening of November 15, the police arrested Jahangir Alam (45) and Zahirul Islam Choton (35) from Basur Char village in Sahedal Union of Hossainpur Upazila. Jahangir Alam, son of Abdus Sobahan of Basur Char village in Sahedal Union of Hossainpur Upazila and Zahirul Islam Choton is the son of deceased Abdur Razzak of the same village.
The Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Hossionpur Police Station, Asaduzzaman Titu told the New Nation that, the remand hearing of the three murder cases has been held. After the hearing, the court granted a two-day remand.
