Light rain likely at places over four divisions

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Tuesday predicted that light rain is likely to occur at one or two places over four divisions of the country, in the next 24 hours commencing from 9am on Tuesday.

“Light rain is likely to occur at one or two places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country,” said a met office forecast issued on Tuesday morning, reports BSS.

Night temperature may fall by (1-2)o C and day temperature may fall slightly over the country.

Country’s maximum temperature on Monday was recorded 33.5 degrees Celsius at Sandwip and Tuesday’s minimum temperature 15.8 degrees Celsius was recorded at Tetulia.
