Traffic to be restricted at Dhaka Cantonment on Nov 21

The Inter Service Public Relation Directorate (ISPR) has announced that traffic will be restricted in the Dhaka Cantonmentarea on November 21 due to the observance of the “Armed Forces Day 2023”.Bangladesh Navy will keep its ships in Dhaka, Chattogram, Khulna, Barishal and Chandpur open for all to visit on the occasion of the Armed Forces Day.

Different programmes would be organised to mark the day.

In a bid to keep the area free of congestion during the programme, all vehicles were requested to avoid the Cantonment area from 7am to 11am and 12noon to 7pm on Tuesday.

Bangladesh Naval vessels will remain open at the selected river ports from 2 pm until the sun sets on November 21 (Tuesday), said an ISPR press release here on Friday, reports BSS.

It said the places where the ships will be kept are – Sadarghat in Dhaka, Naval Berth/BN RRB in Chattogram, Khulna Naval Berth/Rocket Ghat and Digraj Naval Berth/ Mongla Port in Bagerhat, BIWTA Ghat in Barishal and BIWTA Ghat in Chandpur.
