Advocacy meeting held in Rangpur

“Safe motherhood, planned family, smart Bangladesh is our commitment” Advocacy meeting was held in the meeting room of Divisional Family Planning Complex on the occasion of “Family Welfare Services and Promotion Week” on 25-30 November 2023.
Rangpur Divisional Commissioner Md. Habibur Rahman was the chief guest in the meeting on Tuesday afternoon, Rangpur Divisional Director (Health), Dr. ABM Abu Hanif, Deputy Director of Local Government Jilufa Sultana, Rangpur Sadar Upazila Chairman Nasima Zaman Bobby, Bangladesh Betar were the special guests. Regional Director Dr. Mohammad Haroon Or Rashid, Family Planning, Deputy Director, Dr. Sheikh Md. Saidul Islam.
Regional Consultant, FPCS-QAT, Dr. Md. Nabiul Islam, Chairman of Kursha Union of Kaunia Upazila Md. Abdul Majid, Chairman of Chaola Union of Pirgachar Md. Nazir Hossain, Upazila Parivar of Rangpur Sadar Upazila spoke among others in the advocacy meeting under the chairmanship of Rangpur Divisional Director Family Planning Dewan Morshed Kamal. Planning Officer Sihab Uddin etc.
In the speech of the chief guest, the divisional commissioner said that the family planning department is playing a very important role in the development of Bangladesh. He also said that to ensure 100% institutional delivery service, family planning service centers should be known as places of public trust. The meeting will be held on November 25-30, 2023 AD. Requested to make the family welfare service and campaign week a success.
