MoU establishes coop framework

The Ministry of Public Administration and the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) in Bangladesh sealed a partnership with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Wednesday, reports media.

The MOU signifies a commitment to a collaborative partnership between UNOPS and MoPA, aiming to enhance efficiency, capacity building, and sustainable project management in Bangladesh, said a statement.

The MoU establishes a framework of cooperation and collaboration between UNOPS and MoPA in various areas of common interest.

Those include collaboration in institutional development, capacity building, pre-implementation project support, advisory and capacity building support on public procurement, knowledge sharing, and technical advisory support for enhancing ICT and digitalization capacities of Bangladesh Civil Service.

Both Parties will engage in periodic meetings to review ongoing activities, plan future endeavors, and keep each other informed of matters of common interest.
