District Governor visits City Rotary Club of Sylhet

The official club visit of Rotary District 3282 Governor and Rotary Club of Sylhet City was held at an elite hotel in the Sylhet city on Thursday.
Rotary District Governor Engineer Muhammad Matiur Rahman, the club President Rotarian S A Shofiee, Secretary Rotarian Md Masuk Ahmed and President-Elect Rotarian Ahsan Habib visited the club as per the rules.
During the visit, they exchanged views on the club’s significant projects for the 2023-2024 Rota year, rules and other issues. Later, Rotary Sylhet Area Adviser Rtn Hanif Muhammad, Area Director Rtn AKM Shamsul Haque Dipu, Deputy Governor Rtn Atiqur Reza Choudhury, Assistant Governor PP Rtn Aminul Islam and other guests participated in the club’s general meeting.
Club President Rotarian S A Shofiee delivered the welcome speech and made a humble request to the District Governor to conduct the assembly meeting.
The District Governor in his speech asked the president to give an update on the progress of the club.
The District Governor directed the Rotary Club of Sylhet City to work together with local clubs to undertake various initiatives for the underprivileged children of Sylhet and provide immunization to female children. Club President Rotarian S A Shofiee sought cooperation from everyone to make the upcoming signature project career fest successful and talked about various initiatives.
