Palestine, an open prison

Habibur Rahman :

Palestine is an important region for geopolitics. The land is located between the Jordan River in the Mediterranean Sea.

Palestine is a geographical middle ground for the three continents of Asia, Africa and Europe.

Once Palestine had a lot of lands, but in the course of time, it came under the control of the occupying Israelis.

The Palestinian independence revolutionaries have been fighting against these occupiers for many years to protect their land.

Why is Palestine called an open prison? Before the First World War, Jews had been living scattered all over the world.

The Jews had a very high reputation for brutality, murder, peace and order.

Thanks to the support of the Allies in the First World War, the world powers announced the establishment of a Jewish state in the world through an agreement in 1917.

The agreement was named after the then British Prime Minister Arthur James Balfour.

The result of the declaration of this agreement was to provide a safe haven for the Jews scattered around the world.

Through this declaration, the possibility of a Jewish state in the Palestinian area became bright and a large number of Jews began to settle in Palestine from Europe.

Another reason for the settlement of the Jews in Palestine is that the Caliphate system of the Muslims was shaky, and on this occasion, the Jews and the Christians, through an extreme conspiracy, tried to evict the Muslims by betraying them through the Ghaddar agreement called Balfour, and strengthened the fear of the state of Israel.

As the Ottoman Caliphate disappeared in 1924, the Muslims did not have a single leader, which left the Muslim countries without a guardian.

Taking this opportunity, the Jews seized the land in a shaky state and rose to occupy more land than when the Caliphate disappeared.

In this, the oppression and persecution of Israel on the Palestinian people multiplied.

When the situation worsened, the first Arab-Israeli war began in 1948. But Israel defeated the Arab-Palestinians with the single help of the world.

In this way, four Arab-Israeli wars were organized successively. In each war, the Arabs were miserably defeated by Israel.

As a result, more and more darkness fell on the Arabs, especially on the Palestinians.

Israel engaged in a brutal occupation of land, including torture, oppression, rape, indiscriminate killing of women and children. There is no torture that is not done to Palestine.

The whole world is seeing the brutal torture of the occupying forces on the Palestinians. But we cannot do anything for them in terms of humanity.

On the contrary, the aid and assistance that comes is hindered by the Israeli forces. Cooperation does not reach. As a result, they are living a miserable life without basic rights.

They are half-starved and starving. Most of which are women and children who are victims of torture.

For ages, the oppression of Palestinians by Israel has been considered terrible, which is still ongoing.

In addition, freedom-loving Palestinians have been fighting for ages to protect their homeland and existence.

Various freedom-loving organizations that have developed in Palestine are leading this struggle. One of them is Hamas.

As a response to the torture of innocent Palestinians in the name of Israel’s anti-terrorist operation, Hamas launched an attack on Tel Aviv, the capital of Israel, on October 7.

As a result, Israel’s advanced military equipment and the famous intelligence agency Mossad were called into question.

In the attack, mostly women, children and old people were killed, which is a clear violation of international human rights.

Despite this clear violation of human rights, the world leaders who are the bully of human rights continue to support the terrorist Israel and propagate in the media that it is a planned attack by the terrorist Hamas on the innocent Israel.

Palestinian attacks in response to the oppression of the occupying Israeli forces are called ‘terrorist’ attacks, but Israelis say it is they who have been oppressed by the Palestinians for years.

But the reality is the Palestinians are victims of oppression and torture in their own land and are beaten to death every day.

But when they fight to protect the existence of their own land and become militants, they are called terrorist organization.

If the powerful countries support the occupying Israeli forces, if they support the oppressors, then the chances of establishing peace in the world is very slim.

The freedom-loving countries of the world, including Palestine, who are fighting against the oppressors to protect their land, will remain trapped forever. Only war, murder, disappearance and torture will increase.

Where is the solution to this war in Israel and Palestine, this death march? Will peace be established in the two-state agreement between the two countries? Will Palestine remain an open prison forever? We must find answers to these vital questions now.
