BOU celebrates 31st Foundation Day

In observance of the 31st gracious foundation day of Bangladesh Open University (BOU) organised a grand gala cake cutting ceremony was on Tuesday at its main campus in Gazipur.

Prof Dr Syed Humayun Akhter, was present in the ceremony as chief guest and cut the cake along with Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Nasim Banu (administration), Prof Dr Mahabuba Nasreen (Academic), Treasurer Prof Mostafa Azad Kamal, Registrar Dr Md. Shafiqul Alam, Deans, Directors, Teachers, Officers and Other Employees were present at the time.

Earlier in the morning vice chancellor and others paid a floral wreath at BOU’s Shadhinata Chirantan Statue to respect Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and all the martyrs.

Later, they freed pigeons in the blue sky on the Shadhinata Chirantan premises.
