Ships carrying goods for Ruppur Power Plant arrive at Mongla

Two commercial foreign ships carrying 2 thousand 5 hundred 16 metric tons machinery and electrical materials for Ruppur Atomic Power Plant arrived at Mongla Sea Port on Sunday.

The foreign ship named ‘MV. Milena’ arrived at Mongla Port on the day and anchored with the Jetty No.08 in the morning (at 11 am) and the foreign ship ‘MV. Anka Sky’ arrived at the Port on the same day and anchored with the Jetty No.07 at noon (at 01 pm).

The unloading works of the machineries from the ships already started on the same day just at 2 pm.

After the completion of the unloading works of the materials, these will be sent to the depot of Ruppur Atomic Power Plant on roads.

It was confirmed by Sadhan Kumar Chakraborty, Manager of M/S. Conveyer Shipping License, the local shipping agent of those 2 foreign ships.
