Next polls to be held following constitution: Amu

Awami League (AL) Advisory Council Member and spokesperson of the 14-party alliance Amir Hossain Amu on Tuesday said the upcoming general election will be held as per the country’s constitution within the stipulated time.

“The next general election won’t be held as per the wish of foreign and domestic powers,” he told a meeting with 14-party leaders at his residence in the city’s Eskaton, reports BSS.

Amu, veteran leader of AL, said the upcoming general election will be held as per the wish of the countrymen, not the foreigners.
