Chattogram: Dr. Shahadat Hossen, convener of Chattogram District BNP distributes clothes as chief guest in a ceremony organised by the District Hindu Buddhist Christian Welfare Front on the occasion of Sharodiyo Durga Puja held at the party office ground of Kazir Deori, Nasmin Bhaban in Chattogram on Friday. The chief priest of ISKCON Pravartak Mandir Srinivas Das Brahmachari inaugurated the program by lighting the Mangal Deep through reciting from the holy Gita presided over by the Razib Dhar Tomal, Organising Secretary of the Welfare Front. Dr. Shahadat in his speech said, the country is being ruled by a fascist government. With the coming of the Devi Durga, the evil forces should be banished and the good forces should be introduced again. Thus, democracy and rule of law should be brought to the country.
