HILI, Dinajpur: The 60th birthday of Sheikh Russel was celebrated in Hilli (Hakimpur) of Dinajpur district through various programs on Wednesday. Wreaths were paid to Russell’s memory by the upazila administration while a rally was organised circling the main road in the city. A discussion meeting and prize distribution ceremony was also held in the Upazila Parishad Hall with Hakimpur Upazila Nirbahi Officer Amit Roy in the chair and Upazila Chairman Harrun ur Rashid Harun as the chief guest.
