World Sight Day observed in Rangpur

A rally and a discussion meeting were held to mark the World Sight Day at Community Eye Care and Research Center at Modern Mor in Rangpur including eye care program in the Day program supported by Sightsavers.

The performable of this year’s world sight day is “Love Your eyes at work too” on the occasion of this day all the staff members of community eye care, local people arranged a rally which travelled different roads of modern mor, ashrotpur and cadet college and ended at Community eye hospital.

The meeting was presided by Senior Manager Community Eye Hospital Zofor Ahmed with welcome speech of Chairman Community Eye Hospital Ferdous Alam Mukul. Asst. Executive Director of Community Eye Hospital Tushar Kanti Das, District Coordinator of Sightsavers Masud Rana, Inclusion Officer of Community Eye Hospital Sheik Abdul Karim also spoke on the occasion.

In the discussion two cataract patients named Abul Kalam and Morjina Begum who had their surgeries of eye, expressed their good feelings in front of the audience
