Pori Moni returns to shooting after two years

Since the birth of her son Rajya, Dhallywood’s actress Pori Moni had taken a break to not only regain herself but to also spend quality time with her son.

Now, after a break of two years, the actress is gearing up to start shooting her upcoming movie titled ‘Dodor Golpo’.

Pori Moni will be seen playing the lead role in the movie which was written and directed by Reza Ghatok.

The director was also the one who handled the screenplay, script and dialogues of the production.

While sharing her happiness on finally returning to the shooting set with this movie, Pori Moni said, “I have been waiting for this day for the last two years as it was really hard for me to stay away from filming. A movie set is one of my most cherished and favourite places to be.

My wait finally ends with the movie ‘Dodor Golpo’ and trusts me it’s a really exceptional story.”

According to the reports, Ahsan Habib Nasim has already joined Pori Moni for the movie’s first shooting day and actor Symon Sadik also joined them on Monday.

‘Dodor Golpo’ (Story of Dodo) is a government grant-received movie that is being produced by Zee Series.

The production received a Tk60 lakh grant in the financial year of 2021-22.

Moreover, Pori Moni has also signed a new Hoichoi web series recently, based on Kingkor Ahsan’s novel titled ‘Rongila Kitab’, which is scheduled to start production soon.
