World Teachers’ Day observed

The World Teacher’s Day was observed in Rangpur through various programmes. Rangpur Polytechnic Institute (RPI) organized a discussion meeting, rally and reception on occasion on Thursday.

In this event, the Chief Guest was the former principal engineer of RPI Md. Aminur Rahman Chowdhury, under the chairmanship of RPI. Vice Principal engineer Md. Tajul Islam. Convener Shahida Binte Bari, Computer Teacher Helal Uddin Ahmed, Non-Tech Chief Instructor Mahadev Kumar Gun etc.

Later, Rangpur division’s best institution head and 2nd place at the national level were awarded to former teachers along with RPI Principal Engineer Farid Uddin Ahmed. Earlier in the morning, a colorful rally paraded in the campus. Students, teachers, teachers took part in it.
