Bangladesh take on India in semi-final today

Bangladesh cricket team will take on their stronger opponent India cricket team in the semi-final of the men’s cricket competition of the 19th Asian Games at Hangzhou in China today.

Earlier, Bangladesh women’s cricket team played against India women’s cricket team in the semi-final of the women’s cricket competition of the Asian Games 2022.

Bangladesh women’s Cricket team conceded a massive defeat to India in their semi-final, which concluded recently.

Bangladesh women’s cricket team earned bronze medal after defeating Pakistan women’s cricket team in the place-deciding match, which came to an end recently.

On the other hand, India women’s cricket team bagged gold medal in the women’s cricket competition of the 19th Asian Games after beating Sri Lanka women’s cricket team in the final.

Bangladesh reached the semi-final of the men’s cricket competition of the Asian Games beating Malaysia by two runs in the quarter-final.

Bangladesh scored 116 runs for the loss of five wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

On the other hand, India men’s cricket team scored above 200 runs in their quarter-final match.

If Bangladesh win against mighty India in the semi-final, Bangladesh will confirm a medal.

Otherwise, Bangladesh have to wait for a bronze to play in the place-deciding match.

Bangladesh men’s cricket team captured gold medal in the Asian Games 2010 and bagged silver in the Asian Games 2014.

After almost ten years, the cricket competitions (men’s & women’s) have been included in the Asian games.
