Bangladesh men’s kabaddi team lose to Chinese Taipei

Bangladesh men’s kabaddi team suffered their second defeat in the 19th Asian Games kabaddi losing to Chinese Taipei by 31-18 points in their third group A match held at Xiaoshan Guali Sports Center Court 1 on Wednesday.

With day’s defeat, Bangladesh’s hope of reaching the semifinal almost shattered while Chine Taipei secured their semifinal spot with third start victories.

Taipei dominated the match from the beginning, taking a 10-8 point lead in the first half.

The winners’ were more aggressive in the second half, securing one creditable ‘lona’ in the match.

Bangladesh will face Thailand in their last group match scheduled to be held today at the same venue.

In March last, Bangladesh won the Bangabandhu Gold Cup by beating Chinese Taipei by 42-28 points.
