Training on Election reporting ends in Sylhet

Sylhet Bureau :

A three-day long training programme on ‘Election Reporting’ for Sylhet journalists was held at Hotel Fortune Garden in Sylhet under the auspices of News Network. The programme started on September 23 and ended September 25.

The training programme was inaugurate by Advocate Nasir Uddin Khan, Chairman of Sylhet Zilla Parished.

The inaugural session was Conducted by Muqtabis -un-nur, Sylhet Coordinator of News Network and Editor of Daily Jalalabad.

It was addressed by Shahiduzzaman, editor of News Network, Rezaul Karim Programme Specialist of News Network, Ziaur Rahman Training coordinator and Julhash Alam Bangladesh Beauro Chief of AP, Ahbab Khan Joint News Editor of daily Jalalabad.

Ariful Haque Chawdhury Mayor of Sylhet city Corporation was present as chief guest at the concluding session on September 25.

The function was presided over by Muqtabis -un-nur, Sylhet Coordinator of News Network and Editor of Daily Jalalabad.

It was addressed by FF Shahiduzzaman, editor of News Network, Rezaul Karim Programme Specialist of News Network, Ziaur Rahman Training coordinator and Julhash Alam Bangladesh Beauro Chief of AP, Khaled Ahmed Sylhet Bureau chief daily Amar Kagoj, Shakila Boby Staff Reporter daily Jaintabarta.

A total of 20 journalists of different printing and electronics media joined at the training programme.

Ariful Haque Chawdhury handed over certificates among the participants.
