The earth’s journey to a boiling era

Syed Faruk Hossain :

Temperatures hit record highs in the most countries.

Global warming has gone a step further and has now become global boiling.

After the era of warming, the world is now in the boiling era.

It is a disaster for the entire planet. In such a situation, people are gasping.

Large parts of the world will burn. Already in different countries of the world, huge lands have fallen due to fire outbreaks.

Capable of at 40 degrees our consciousness fades and the fear of losing consciousness increases.

Body tissue is damaged due to high core temperature especially heart muscle and brain.

Once the core temperature rises to 41-42°C, serious problems arise.

If someone is not given emergency treatment then he may die of hyperthermia.

The world is going through the hottest time on record due to climate change. Scientists say the world will be getting hotter day by day.

The temperature is increasing day by day. The heat is rising like boiling water in a kettle.

The Secretary General of the United Nations compared the present time with the ‘boiling era’ due to adverse weather conditions.

Some general tips to cope with these rising temperatures are to stay in the shade, wear loose clothing, avoid alcohol, keep the house cool, avoid exercising during the hottest part of the day and drink enough water.

In poor countries, where the climate is often hotter and more humid, public health systems are weak, there are other threats. July’s record-shattering temperatures show that the world has moved from a warming phase to a ‘boiling period’.

Record temperatures have fueled wildfires in countries such as Greece, Italy and Algeria. Millions of people are forced to leave their homes.

Also, heat waves are spreading in some parts of the US. This is a disaster for the whole planet.
This is just the beginning.

The dire consequences of climate change are now knocking at our door.

President Joe Biden called the record-breaking temperatures in the United States a “threat of denial”. He said, “Current weather is the only killer.

Every year 600 workers die due to this heat. It is therefore called for the strengthening of heat-related safety regulations for workers.

Meanwhile, the analysis of Dr. Kirsten, a scientist at Leipzig University in Germany, says that July is the hottest month recorded in 120,000 years.

Ahead of the Climate Summit next September, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres called on developed countries to achieve carbon neutrality by 2040 and for emerging economies to achieve this goal by 2050.

Mainly geographical location, overpopulation, poverty and inadequacy of social security are increasing Bangladesh’s risks day by day.

As a result, the sectoral impact of the economy is gradually intensifying due to the increase in the impact of various elements of the environment due to changes in weather variables such as rainfall, average temperature.

It may go out of proper management in the coming days.

Bangladesh is a country of 170 million people. Floods, cyclones, droughts, floods, tornadoes, earthquakes, soil salinity etc.

due to climate change and geographical conditions most dangerous. Bangladesh is one of the most affected countries in the world due to climate change.

This climate change is having a great impact on the country’s agriculture, infrastructure and lifestyle.

What is declining the most is human performance and productivity.

The United States-based science magazine ‘Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences’ highlighted the results of a survey conducted on 50 cities last year, where it is said that the performance of Dhaka residents has decreased the most in the world due to the increase in global average temperature.

If the average temperature of the world increases by 1 degree Celsius compared to now, 2 thousand 100 million labor hours may be lost in Bangladesh every year.

If the average temperature rises by 2 degrees Celsius, 3,100 million man-hours may be lost.

As the temperature increases, the loss of labor hours will increase.

Cholera outbreaks have occurred this year due to abnormal temperatures.

Various infectious diseases, including dengue, have increased.

The world is not just us or humans alone; All animals, plants and foliage.

If you protect nature, people will be saved. If nature is destroyed, humans will be affected by billions of germs like corona in various ways, and even humanity cannot be ruled out.

Scientists have already predicted and warned about these extreme effects of climate change. All their words are matching.

The speed at which this change is happening is astonishing. Not only cold Europe, but the whole world is burning with global warming.

According to the researchers, in the near future, the low areas of many countries of the world, including Bangladesh, Maldives and Sri Lanka, may slowly sink into the sea water; Apart from this, there is also a danger of submergence of low-lying areas in various parts of India.

Climate change will change ocean currents. Our ecology depends on rainfall.

Rainfall patterns will also change due to climate change.

Climate change can affect ocean currents. As a result, there will be changes in monsoons.

At this time, it will be seen that there is a lot of rain in some areas, drought and rainfall can happen together.

As a result, there will be a big change in biodiversity.

Climate change will change the behavior of insects.

There will be massive changes in crop, fruit production and the production will face disaster.

Climate change will increase the frequency of cyclones in coastal areas.

By changing our daily habits, we need to prevent the wastage of various natural resources such as fossil fuels, water, electricity and other resources to ensure proper use.

Extreme heat causes uncomfortable conditions such as heart problems or major lung problems.

New buildings must be designed to address the threat of overheating.

The existing buildings should be made suitable for it. White walls, roofs or tarpaulin, and additional vegetation in the city are helpful in preventing heat.

The air is becoming unbreathable. We have to plan development without harming the environment and keeping our future generations in mind.
