BARI gets Accreditation certificate

The Pesticide Analytical Laboratory under Entomology Division of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) has received the accreditation certificate for the third term by Bangladesh Accreditation Board (BAB) on Monday.

Director General of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) Dr. Debasish Sarker received the accreditation certificate of Pesticide Analytical Laboratory from Director General of Bangladesh Accreditation Board (BAB) Engr. Sheikh Faezul Amin (Additional Secretary).

Meanwhile, the Chief Scientific Officer of Entomology Division Dr. Nirmal Kumar Dutta and other scientists were present there also.

The Pesticide Analytical Laboratory of Entomology Division, BARI received its first accreditation on 05 September 2016 and the second accreditation was achieved on 10 November 2020 after three years of rigorous quality control process.

Provides accurate results for determination of pesticide residues in vegetables, fruits, fish and meat for marketing or export.

The results obtained from this laboratory are accepted all over the world.
