With advanced technology and all the latest medical facilities, the renowned Bakhtunnecha Chowdhury Diabetes Centre of two decades has started its journey in a new way.

Chairman of East Coast Group and prominent industrialist Azam J Chowdhury inaugurated the center on Saturday .

Earlier a prayer meeting and discussion meeting was held on the occasion of the auspicious opening of Navrupe Diabetes Center on a large scale.

Chairman of East Coast Group and prominent industrialist Azam J Chowdhury spoke as the chief guest at the event under the direction of Liaquat Ali Khan, CSR of East Coast Group.

Tanzil Ahmad Chowdhury, MD of East Coast Group and Chairman of Prime Bank, Dilruba Chowdhury, Director of East Coast Group, Executive Director Major General Naeem Ashfaq Chowdhury, Mayor of Kulaura Municipality, Principal Sipar Uddin Ahmed, Kulaura Police Station OC Md. Abdus Salek spoke as special guests. Mawlana Md. Delwar Hossain led the prayers.

It is known that Bakhtunnesa Chowdhury Diabetes Centre was established by Chairman of East Coast Group and prominent industrialist Azam J Chowdhury to provide medical services to the common people of Kulaura Township.

Currently, the center has been transformed into a new form on a large scale at a cost of about 5 crore TK. Every Friday and Saturday at this centre Apart from diabetes services, there will be expert consultation services in Gynecology and Obs, Medicine, Cardiology, Paediatrics, Surgery, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology.
