The constituency of Nilphamari Sadar Upazila and Nilphamari Municipality are made p of 15 unions .
There are 3 lakh 57 thousand 607 voters in this seat as a whole.
There were 1 lakh 89 thousand 330 men and 1 lakh 78 thousand 277 women voters in total.
Awami League has always held the seat in question. Asaduzzaman Noor, a well-known cultural figure, was four times elected from this parliamentary seat.
Even though Asaduzzaman Noor has not been mentioned as the Awami League’s candidate for the 12th parliamentary elections, several party members are working behind the scenes to capitalize in his absence.
It is uncertain that Asaduzzaman Noor will be Awami League nominee for the 12th election from the seat.
A prominent Awami League leader and the Present Convenor Conference Preparation Committee Awami Krishak League Nilphamari District Branch Yahya Abid was found as a alternative of Noor.
BNP, however, is unable to make a decision regarding the election.
Despite polling at the field level, BNP has been unable to choose a candidate because of a severe leadership issue. Former district BNP co-organizing secretary A. HM Saifullah Rubel, district BNP president Alamgir Sarkar, district BNP general secretary Zahurul Alam, municipal BNP president Mahbubur Rahman, who emerged from Chhatra Dal, and former central co-organizing secretary of Chhatra Dal and co-organizing secretary of district BNP Md. Redwanul Haque (Babu) are all mentioned as potential candidates.
Above all, BNP officials and activists dislike the Jamaat because it lacks symbols.Jamaat-e-Islami District Nayeb Amir Dr. Khairul Anam, on the other hand.
Many people believe that by prolonging the election process in silence, they are making turtle-like progress.
The Jatiya Party’s situation is equally precarious. The demand for the twelfth election is still not loud.

The two parliamentary districts of Nilphamari have a sizable number of electors.

The Nilphamari District is now struggling against the oppression of this dictatorial Awami government as per the directives of our BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and Acting Chairman Tareq Rahman in order to strengthen the BNP organizationally.
Our sole objective is to overthrow the fascist regime in the area through demonstrations on the streets.
I’m interested in being elected to the Nilphamari-2 parliamentary seat if the central leaders recommend me for it in the 12th election.
