5th anniversary of ANDSS celebrated in city

The 5th anniversary of Bangladesh Association of Nutritionist and Dieticians for Social Service (ANDSS), the largest organisation of clinical nutritionists of the country, was celebrated at Bishwo Shahitto Kendro in Dhaka on the eighth instant.

Prof Dr. Shubhagota Chowdhury, former director at laboratory services of BADAS, joined the event and delivered a speech as the chief guest.

He hoped that the association will continue to play an important role in improving the clinical dietetics sector, not only for the country but also the world, reports UNB.

The former director also expressed his keen to extend all possible cooperation to the association all along.

Addressing the function as the special guest, lawmaker Shobnom Jahan urged the members to work for improvement of nutrition of underprivileged children.
